Treatment

The Bronte Foundation has a committed team who are fully educated in our unique treatment philosophy and methodology, offering the highest quality continuum of care.

Fully Serviced Centres in Melbourne and Brisbane offer treatment programs for children, adolescents and adults, along with support and education for families, for all eating disorders including obesity related to compulsive overeating.

Treatment Teams focus on understanding the individual client within the context of their psychological milieu and develop integrated courses of treatment for individuals and their families. Tailored programs offer comprehensive eating disorder treatment delivered through Outpatient (Monday to Friday 9 am -5 pm) and Day Programs(Monday to Friday 10 am – 3 pm) which are both outcome and cost effective.

A Complete Spectrum of Care is delivered through our highly specialised and multi-disiplinary teams, including doctors, psychologists, dietitians, counsellors, social workers, teachers and experiential therapists.

Specialised Treatment Programs & Treatment Plans are designed after a complete audit of: symptoms, level of functioning, age, individual needs and formal diagnosis. Recommended Treatment Plans are presented after a two week assessment period which includes the family and extended support network, determining the level of care at which a client could expect to enter into treatment and maximise outcomes.
